Afternoon Good Sun City Festival Residents,
I would like to let you know about a few updates and reminders for our community that I feel are important for you to be aware of. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know by replying to this email or calling 928-252-2103.
New Items have arrived: We now have new tables in our Willow Room where lifelong learning classes are taught and new chairs in the Mulberry and Sable Rooms. We hope everyone enjoys these new additions to the Sage Center.
quarterly board of Director’s Meeting: I wanted to remind everyone that our next quarterly Board of Director’s Meetings next Tuesday, April 24th at 1:30 pm in Celebration Hall at the Sage Center. If you are unable to attend we will be publishing the meeting minutes on our community website within 30 days of the meeting.
street maintenance: As most of you know, the City of Buckeye maintains our streets throughout the community. It is important to understand that street maintenance is based on maintenance and not aesthetics. Please click here to view the City’s pavement management plan that explains the process for selecting the appropriate methodology to ensure the longest possible life for the streets. The City does plan on sealing all of the local streets bounded by Beardsley, Desert Oasis, Desert Vista and MountainRidge by June 30th. If you have any questions, please contact the City ofBuckeye at 623-349-6000.
Reminder from the Architectural Design Review Committee: Please remember that all exterior changes to your home need to be submitted to the ARCH Committee. If assistance is needed with the submittal form please contact our community standards coordinator Karey Belanger at 928-252-2105.
Upcoming LapPool Closure: Due to the maintenance of our pool decking, the lap pool and the decking surrounding this area will be closed next Sunday, April 29th and reopening May 2nd. During this time the lap pool will be unavailable for all activities held in that area including aqua aerobics, water volleyball, and swimming club. We apologize for the inconvenience but appreciate your understanding as the decking needs to be painted in that area. This does not affect the rest of the pool and the spa.
Last, don forget we have a Food Truck Night tomorrow from 4 pm to 7 pm in the SageCenter Parking Lot. We are scheduled to have 9 food trucks attending including the extremely popular “Maine Lobster Lady”. We will have tables and chairs
Have a great weekend,
