I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season with family and friends. I would like to let you know about a few updates and reminders for our community that I feel are important for you to be aware of. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know by replying to this email or calling 928-252-2103.
Annual Meeting: Just a reminder that our annual meeting will be at Foothills Elementary School next Tuesday, January 22nd at 6:30pm. We do anticipate a large number of residents to attend so that is why we are holding this meeting at the school. If you are unable to attend, we will publish the meeting minutes on our community website approximately 30 days after the meeting.
Roof Repairs: The Board of Directors approved several roof improvements after thoroughly researching the Sage Center’s recent leak issue and employing a professional roofing consultant to review the matter as well. These improvements include applying a new surface to the entire flat roof, adding gutters to the front of the Sage Center and changing landscaping that affects the drainage pattern. These repairs are scheduled to happen in the next few weeks.
Pool Furniture Update: I wanted to let you know that we should have all of our new pool furniture within the next 30 days. The facilities team will start replacing the pool umbrellas a few days prior to the arrival of the furniture. We may have a few hours of pool closure to complete this install. I will communicate any closures once we get closer.
TAD Concert Shows: After hearing concerns from residents about the number of TAD concert tickets allowed to be sold per household, the Board has decided to lower the number to 4 tickets. This was discussed at the last Neighborhood Representatives Council meeting and the majority of the representatives were in support of limiting the number of tickets to 4 per household. This will be effective as of today, so please take note if you are planning on purchasing tickets on the 29th for our Rolling Stones Tribute Band.
Landscaping Update: You may have noticed several of our plants throughout the community received frost damage due to the extreme low temperatures a few weeks back. Carescape will not be trimming these plants back until they feel the risk of another frost event has passed. We anticipate cutbacks to happen around the middle of February. If you would like to read additional information on the cutback rejuvenation process please click here.
Short Term Rentals: Recently I have received several complaints from residents about short term rentals in the neighborhood. Please remember that per our governing documents, rentals must be for a minimum of 30 days. Casita are also not allowed to be rented out. I have contacted several owners who are listing their houses on sites such as VRBO and Airbnb that do not meet the 30 day minimum requirement.
