Good Afternoon Sun City Festival Residents,
I would like to let you know about a few updates and reminders for our community that I feel are important for you to be aware of. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know by replying to this email or calling 928-252-2103.
New items approved: The Board of directors has approved new tables for our Willow Room, where our LifelongLearning Classes are taught. Also, the Board has approved purchasing additional banquet chairs which will allow us to permanently stage chairs in the Mulberry and Sable Rooms. We anticipate these chairs to arrive in the next 4-6 weeks.
new committee Members: On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that David Esler has been selected to serve on the Finance Committee and Kenneth Coffman has been selected to serve on the Architectural Design Review Committee. If you applied for one of these committee positions and were not selected, please know that we are very appreciative of your willingness to volunteer to assist in the governance of the community. We have many talented people in Sun City Festival, and these selections are always tough! Please consider throwing your name in the hat when future openings come up.
Neighborhood Representative Committee: I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of our new Neighborhood Representatives. We were fortunate to have so many residents volunteer that now every neighborhood has at least one representative. This week you should have received an email from your neighborhood representative but in case you have not, please click here for a complete list of our neighborhood representatives.
Fine Policy: The Board of Directors has approved anew Fine Policy and Appeal Process that is effective April 1st. This policy relates to fines and appeals for compliance violations. If you would like to review the new policy please click here.
Food Truck Night: This coming Saturday, we will be having our second Food Truck Picnic, with 10 food trucks, in addition, to live music from
RV Parking: The City of Buckeye allows RV parking on our streets up to 72 hours for loading and unloading. Please be considerate of your neighbors and do not block driveways or intersections. If you see an RV parked longer than 72 hours please contact the Buckeye police.
Compliance Reminder: Please remember that our sidewalks and trails are for walkers only. I continue to receive complaints about our residents riding their bikes and golf carts on sidewalks and trails.
I hope everyone is enjoying this amazing weather. Have a wonderful weekend.
