The Buckeye Community Garden Seeking Volunteers

On May 1, 2011, the Buckeye Police Department lost their first Police Officer in the line of duty, Officer Rolando Tirado. A Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on April 14, 2012 to help raise money to send family members of Buckeye's fallen police officer, Rolando Tirado and wounded officer, Chris Paz to the National Police Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. in May 2012. Some of this money also is used to pay for the memorial service held this past year. The Golf Tournament will be held at Copper Canyon Golf in Sun City Festival. Sponsors, golfers, raffle items, and donations for this tournament are still needed.
